Identification of the RNA dependent RNA polymerase and mechnaism of chromatin maintenance

Abstract
RNA dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp) is a critical enzyme which is responsible for chromatin maintenance mediated by RNAs. While the existence of a functional mammalian homologue of RdRp has been predicted, such an enzyme has not yet been identified. Our goal is to identify the human RdRp and to study the biological significance of this enzyme.
