Abstract

Template-independent RNA polymerization plays important roles in the gene expressions in many aspects in all organisms. However, the detailed dynamical mechanisms of template-independent RNA polymerization by template-independent RNA polymerases are obscure. In this project, we analyze the dynamical molecular mechanism of template-independent RNA polymerization by template-independent RNA polymerases. We also analyze the structure and function of protein complexes involved in the 3'-end formation of RNAs, where template-independent RNA polymerase is one of the core components.
