Organic semiconductors are very promising materials for emitting devices due to their colorful emission and high quantum efficiency. However, electrically pumped lasing has not been yet realized.
In this proposal, I try to realize the first organic laser device using the ambipolar transistors based on organic single crystal, which can achieve both high current density and high quantum efficiency.
