Synthesis of Insulated Conjugate Polymers and It's Application to Nanomolecular Devices
Abstract
Our aim is to develop methods of synthesizing insulated conjugate polymers with high stability and functionality by polymerizing insulated conjugate monomers obtained through the self-inclusion of π-conjugated guest molecules coupled with cyclic molecules. We will also attempt to fabricate single-moleculer devices using a solution process, by successively immersing nanoelectrodes in solutions containing insulated conjugate molecules having different functions, and conducting chemical reactions sequentially in nano-space. Furthermore, we aim to develop next-generation nanoelectronics elements as an application of this technique.
