Search for an electronic structure/chirality-controlled growth method of SWNT
Abstract
Because of the one-dimensional nanostructure and excellent electron transport property, single-walled carbon nanotube (SWNT) has attracted a great deal of interest for the application in future electronic devices. However, such application requires the synthesis of SWNT with controlled electronic structure or chirality, which determines the electron transport property. In this research program, I focus on the development of a synthetic method for the highly-controlled SWNT growth. This research will develop into the realization of SWNT-based electronics in combination with our original SWNT integration technique.
