Three-dimensional multi-molding processes using micro/nano stereolithography |
Three-dimensional (3-D) multi-molding processes based on micro/nano stereolithography are developed. In this technique, a 3-D polymeric master model produced by micro/nano stereolithography is transferred to a silicone mold or ceramic mold. By using the silicone mold, 3-D complicated microstructures can be easily replicated with various materials such as photopolymers and gels. The ceramic mold is utilized not only as a mold for metal casting but also as ceramic microparts. The multi-molding processes will make possible the development of 3-D MEMS, biochip and soft actuators. |
