Development of a new modeling method for morphogenesis
Bodies of multicellular organisms including us are formed from a fertilized egg through cell proliferation, apoptosis, differentiation, and movement in a self-orgnized manner. The purpose of this study is to develop a new modeling method to describe chemical and mechanical processes during morphogenesis of multicellular organisms, and to deepen the understandings of design principle of morphognesis.
