Acute inflammation is an important host defense mechanism, which mormally resolves by active and coordinated program to keep homeostasis. The specific aim of this proposal is to elucidate the mechanism of resolution of inflammation in molecular terms especially focusing on lipid metabolisms. Results from this aim will provide a potentially useful targets for new therapeutic interventions in a wide range of human diseases.
