Analysis of the relationship on the regulations between metabolism and angiogenesis in obesity
Abstract
Obesity enhances the occurrence of related metabolic disorders, including type 2 diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and cardiovascular pathology, together known as metabolic syndrome. To clarify the mechanisms of the regulation of metabolic homeostasis in vivo, I would like to investigate how the regulation of lipid and energy metabolism alters in obese and lean mice relative to controls using the metabolome analysis. Finally, this analysis leads the development of pharmacological interventions against metabolic syndrome.
