Functional analysis of lipid metabolizing enzymes and identification of bioactive lysophospholipids.
Abstract
Study on ipid metabolites is one of the most important field in the post genome project. In this study I fucus on the pathphysiological function of lysophospholipid mediators. Lysophospholipids are produced by diverse phospholipases and consist of various kind of molecular species. My aim is to identify novel lipid metabolic pathways and novel function of lysophospholipids by analyzing phospholipases with unknown functions.
