The Strategic Objective “Organism–Environment Interactions: Elucidating the Interplay Between Organisms and the Exposome” JST plans to launch a new PRESTO research area and to conduct the call for research proposals for Fiscal Year 2026 according to the schedule outlined below.

Application Period: Friday, April 17 – Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 12:00 noon, Japan time
Explanatory Meeting: April 24, 2026
Evaluation Period: Early June – Mid-August 2026
Research Start: October 1st, 2026（planning）
