See below for the English version.

Research Activities Fully Underway at Our New Hub!
The ERATO TOYOTA Plant Sensory Transduction Project has relocated to the Science Frontier Hub as its new research base, marking a fresh start for the project as a whole. Until now, research activities were conducted across multiple laboratories in different locations. By consolidating the research environment into a single hub, we have established a system that enables closer collaboration and more integrated research efforts.
The laboratory features glass walls, creating an open and welcoming atmosphere that allows activities inside to be seen from outside. The space offers a close view of researchers and students working with plants on a daily basis, enabling visitors to experience the atmosphere of research “in action.”
Previously, the experimental laboratories and desk workspaces were located in separate areas, which sometimes made it time-consuming to move between experiments, data organization, and analysis. At the new research base, desk workspaces are located immediately outside the laboratories, allowing researchers to organize experimental results on the spot and plan subsequent experiments more efficiently. In addition, bringing all research activities into a single location has shortened the distance between researchers and students, leading to more frequent everyday conversations and exchanges of ideas.
