概要

9月30日、埼玉大学院理工学研究科の須田啓助教および豊田正嗣教授らによる研究成果が、国際的な科学雑誌『Nature Communications』に掲載されました。ハエトリソウの“触覚”センサーの仕組みを明らかにした論文『 MSL10 is a high-sensitivity mechanosensor in the tactile sense of the Venus flytrap 』が、同誌の編集者が特に注目すべき研究成果として選出する「 Editor’s Highlights: Plants and Agriculture 」に掲載されました。

Research by Dr. Hiraku Suda and Prof. Masatsugu Toyota Featured in Editor’s Highlights of the Scientific Journal "Nature Communications"

On September 30, the research results of Dr. Hiraku Suda and Prof. Masatsugu Toyota (Saitama University / JST ERATO), were published in the international scientific journal "Nature Communications". The paper, titled “ MSL10 is a high-sensitivity mechanosensor in the tactile sense of the Venus flytrap ”, which elucidates the mechanism of the Venus flytrap’s tactile sensor, was selected for “ Editor’s Highlights: Plants and Agriculture ”.

Editor’s Highlights features only those studies published in Nature Communications that are recognized for their exceptional scientific originality, academic significance, and potential for future development.
