概要

埼玉大学院理工学研究科の竹島亮馬助教(元農業・⾷品産業技術総合研究機構 作物研究部門)が、日本育種学会奨励賞を受賞しました。日本育種学会奨励賞は、育種および育種学において優れた業績をあげ、さらに将来の活躍が期待できる若手会員に対して贈呈される賞です。授賞式は2026年3月21～22日に開催される日本育種学会第76回総会にて行われる予定です。

Dr. Takeshima Receives the Young Scientist Award from the Japanese Society of Breeding!

Dr. Ryoma Takeshima, Assistant Professor at the Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Saitama University, has received the Young Scientist Award from the Japanese Society of Breeding. The Young Scientist Award is presented to promising early-career members who have achieved outstanding research accomplishments in plant breeding and breeding science and are expected to make further significant contributions in the future.
The award ceremony is scheduled to take place at the 76th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Breeding, to be held on March 21–22, 2026.

Research Topic：Construction of a Genomic Breeding Platform for Buckwheat and Elucidation of the Molecular Mechanisms of Heteromorphic Self-Incompatibility in Buckwheat
