Research Theme
Understanding of the role of plasmacytoiud dendritic cells in the control of chronic inflammation and their regulation

In this project, I will examine the initiation and the progression of inflammatory response and antigen-specific T-cell response in a murine inflammatory autoimmune disease model using plasmacytoiud dendritic cell(pDC)-specific ablated mice and pDC-specific functional molecule-deficient mice. Through investigating this issue, I aim to clarify the role of pDCs and the molecular basis underlying their function for the control of chronic inflammation caused by the failure of the regulatory loop, leading to the initiation and the progression of immune pathogenesis.
