Outline
This exchange program aims to promote international collaborative research in quantum chemistry between Japan (Yokohama City University and Japan Women's University) and six leading Universities in Thailand, with a particular emphasis on fostering young researchers, especially women. Utilizing the "Multiscale Quantum Hydrogen Simulation and Data Science" framework developed by the project leader, the program will advance research that contributes to Thailand's priority area of green technology, while synergistically integrating research resources from both countries. In addition to mutual visits and online exchanges among young researchers and graduate students, the program will build a multilayered human network through international workshops featuring sessions for women researchers, industry–academia collaboration activities, and visits to research institutes. On the institutional side, the program will strengthen and formalize existing MOUs, establish new MOUs, and develop a double‑degree program at the doctoral course level. Furthermore, it will work toward forming a research hub for quantum chemistry and enhancing collaboration with relevant academic societies, thereby establishing a sustainable framework for international cooperation.
