In improving health care services, service providers have focused on matters that are readily quantified such as recovery of motor and cognitive function. However for users, aspects of “place” such as hard to quantify social relationships and improved quality of life may be more important. Therefore in this research, we will establish basic technologies for measurement and evaluation of “place”, and based on this, we will examine methods for creating places that support service innovation through co-creation between providers and users.
