Feasibility Study of Social Simulation Model to Activate Local Cities

Urban revitalization is an important “service” issue for local governments and NPOs. However, until now, there has not been a systematic way to create revitalization scenarios, and to evaluate their validity in advance.
This research will approach this problem from the perspective of the possibility of applying social simulation. The research will include small experiments to identify what data are required, how simulation should be carried out, and what techniques of service science should be realized to achieve that.
We will present the results at a workshop at the end of the year, where we would like to discuss the ways of providing local urban revitalization services with everybody involved.
