Symposium: Roadmaps to the Realization of a Low Carbon Society

Center for Low Carbon Society Strategy (LCS) devotes itself to quantitative research with technological and economical visions for low carbon technology, and evaluates scenarios for the implementation of technologies in society to achieve “the realization of a dynamic and affluent low carbon society.” LCS is also engaged in social system design and comprehensive strategies spanning research and development to create new technologies; the dissemination of research outcomes; and the implementation of technologies in society to accelerate the realization of a low carbon society.

The LCS Symposium has been held every year since the establishment of LCS. The theme for this year’s symposium will be “Roadmaps to the Realization of the Low Carbon Society.” Speeches and poster sessions will introduce the current progress of ongoing research and new outcomes on subjects regarding technology, the economy, and social systems for the realization of a low carbon society. We will actively discuss current issues and future visions from technological, economic, and social viewpoints with invited experts of the related fields.
