At the meeting with Dr. Chudoba, information and opinions were exchanged on the topics of S&T trends in both countries and possibilities for future cooperation.
Along with an introduction of SAS and JST, in the meeting with Dr. Pastorek both sides confirmed that they would continue to promote collaboration through initiatives such as the workshop on "Advanced Materials" to be co-organized by SAS, IVF and JST in July this year.
In addition to these meetings, Dr. Nakamura also gave a talk entitled "Innovation through Science and Technology" at SAS, in which he explained Japanese S&T trends and the activities of JST. Attracting an audience of more than 50 Slovak S&T policy officers and SAS members, the speech was a great success. Dr. Nakamura went on to visit the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry at SAS to observe its research facilities, guided by affiliated researchers.
