On August 7th 2012, The 1st Steering Committee Meeting on MEXT "FUTURE-PV Innovation" Project took place in Royal Blue Hall of Tokyo Tech Front at Ookayama Campus, Tokyo Tech. In addition to research members including the Research Director, advisory committee members participated in this meeting. The number of participants of this meeting was about 60.

　In the kick off ceremony of The “FUTURE-PV Innovation” Project, opening speeches were delivered by Makoto Konagai, Research Director, Motoshi Shinozaki, Director of MEXT and Takayoshi Mamine, Executive Director of JST.

　During the presentation session, group leaders provided their plans of research into renewable energy technology on this project. The sessions provided a place to exchange ideas on this project among participants where they discussed subjects such as details of research being conducted.
