"FUTURE-PV Innovation" Project Exhibited at “Renewable Energy Industrial Fair 2014 (REIF2014)” [December 3 and 4, 2014.]
"FUTURE-PV Innovation” Project participated in “Renewable Energy Industrial Fair 2014 (REIF 2014)” for the second time to promote the project. The event was held at BIG PALETTE FUKUSHIMA in Koriyama city, Fukushima, on December 3 and 4, 2014.
Fukushima prefecture set an ambitious goal to meet 100 percent or more of regional electricity needs with renewable energy by 2040 and is striving to be a “Renewable Energy Frontier.” As part of such efforts, REIF Fukushima 2014 was hosted by Fukushima Prefectural Government and Fukushima Center for Industrial Promotion, aiming to provide firms and institutions in the renewable energy industry with opportunities to exhibit their technology and provide information.
The third REIF attracted more visitors than last year. A total of 169 firms and institutions participated as exhibitors and 6,080 people visited in two days (153 exhibitors and 5,590 visitors participated in last year’s fair).
"FUTURE-PV Innovation” Project exhibited panels in the JST booth. In addition, Konagai, Research Director, gave a presentation at “FREA ‘Renewable Energy’ Seminar,” in which about 200 visitors participated, to promote the project’s activities. The seminar was co-hosted by Fukushima prefecture and Fukushima Renewable Energy Institute, AIST (FREA), in which the project is based.
