Abstract

This study aims to experimentally elucidate the effects of the interfacial structures of organic donor/acceptor at nano- and molecualr levels on the photoinduced charge transfer and the recombination process to achieve highly efficient organic solar cells. The strategy includes the surface segregation phenomenon of low surface energy materials, film transfer processes and self-organization of the molecules. The final goal of the study is the construction of the "ideal" nanostructre for the organic solar cells by self-organization, which cannot be achieved by the conventional mixed bulk heterojunctions.
