Abstract

I will investigate physical properties at donor/acceptor interfaces in organic solar cells by utilizing synchrotron-based analytical techniques. Since the synchrotron radiation is capable of selective excitation of constituent elements and molecules, the synchrotron-based techniques are useful for the analysis of structural and electronic transitions of organic molecules. The final objective of this study is to reveal the whole picture of energy loss processes at donor/acceptor interfaces in organic solar cells.
