Catalytic conversion of all organic components in woody biomass into valuable chemicals

　The final goal of this research project is to establish new technique for catalytic conversion of all organic components in woody biomass into valuable chemicals such as plastic monomers. I will carry out catalytic conversion of woody biomass composed of cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin into the corresponding chemicals by using solid catalysts in water.
