Regulation of productivity by induced transport of various nutrients
Nutrient uptake efficiency for increasing productivity is important as fertilizers remained in soil are often potential environmental pollutants. This study focuses on function of transcription factor genes, which are expected to contribute to induced transport of various nutrients within plants. Nutrient transport-associated genes and nutrients regulated by the transcription factor genes are fully unveiled, and nutrient transport ability is examined using their overexpressing plants. This study aims to develop a method that increased productivity is achieved by inducing expression of the transcription factor genes.
