Coupled regulation of transcription and mRNA degradation associated with high sucrose response

Sucrose is important for plant growth and development not only as a metabolite, but also as a signaling molecule. The level of sucrose is tightly controlled in plants, and high levels of sucrose inhibit their growth. The aim of this study is to understand the molecular mechanism of the coupled regulation of transcription and mRNA degradation in response to high levels of sucrose, providing new insights into the control of gene expression related to sucrose signaling. The study will also provide a molecular basis for producing plants that are resistant to environmental changes.
