Dr. Katsunori Tanaka, Associate Chief Scientist in RKEN won the 2015 Horace S. Isbell Award from Division of Carbohydrate Chemistry, American Chemical Society (ACS). The Horace S. Isbell Award acknowledges excellence in and promise of continued quality of contribution to research in carbohydrate chemistry. The winner must be under the age of 45 at the time of the award. Dr. Tanaka, the first Japanese winer, contributed to the molecular imaging field by his glycoconjugates for diagnostic and clinical application.
