Researchers Theme Outline
This research aims at designing intelligent humanoid robots that communicate with human by using gesture and language. The robot learns a large scale words and actions by observing human as a stochastic network between behavioral symbols and language. The knowledge based on behavioral symbols and language makes it possible for humanoid robots to understand human action and speech, to estimate his or her future, and to support by cooperating with tasks of the human or providing valuable information appropriately. The humanoid robot is expected to become a new information environment with a sense of affinity for human.
