Researchers Theme Outline

In the disaster response, there is no standardized scheme for information integration because those information are gathered by disaster response agencies based on the individual objectives. Therefore, local government cannot develop the Common Operational Picture which is necessary for rapid and effective response. Against this issue, we try to model the process of integration of information with different quality by visual inspection as a part of Geo-Ontology and develop the technology to integrate the different information based on these geo-locations. The result from this research should be a basic technology to integrate intelligence from other research field to disaster response.
