研究課題概要
本研究ではウイルス感染下における生体の恒常性維持・変容を、生体システムの変化や破綻の観点から定量的に理解し、疾患を制御する方法の解明を目指します。具体的にはB型肝炎ウイルス(HBV)を題材に培養細胞及びヒト化マウスを用いたHBV感染実験を行い、実験データを取得します。また、臨床試験から得られたデータと合わせて、数理モデルを基軸にした理論解析を実施し、生体内のHBVを完全に排除するための新規治療法を探索します。
