Content

The goal of this research are quantitative understanding of homeostatic dynamics affected by virus infection, and proposal for a new treatment for virus associated diseases. In particular, I focus on hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection, and carry out cell culture and animal experiments. In addition to analysis of these experimental data, I quantitatively analyze clinical data from HBV patients using mathematical models. Finally, I will establish a theory and propose a treatment for HBV cure.
