Piezoelectric Oblique Nanostructures for Smart Sensing Tomoaki Yamada

Tomoaki Yamada

Nagoya University, Graduate School of Engineering, Associate Professor

As a novel energy conversion material used in future smart sensor system, a piezoelectric nanostructure being at an oblique angle with substrate is fascinating. The aim of this study is to establish the self-supporting growth process of such piezoelectric oblique nanostructures using bottom-up approach and to achieve the piezoelectric response far superior to conventional nanoscale materials including thin films.
