This research project is aiming to develop organic active lasers by manipulating and controlling three-dimensional (3D) mesoscopic space. Introduction of mesoscopic spaces into self-organized 3D structures of microparticles leads to remarkable enhancement in optical properties of individual materials. Such particular phenomena would enable the fabrication of high-performance and low-threshold laser devices of organic materials toward next-generation photonic system.
