Environment and Energy: 4 projects selected

- Three (3) projects out of 26 proposals for Environment and Energy “Research contributing to the resolution of global-scale environmental issues”

- One (1) project out of 14 proposals for Environment and Energy “Research contributing to energy systems for low carbon society”

Bioresources: 1 project selected

- One (1) project out of 14 proposals for Bioresources “Research contributing to sustainable utilization of bioresources”

Natural Disaster Prevention: 2 projects selected

- Two (2) projects out of 10 proposals for Natural Disaster Prevention “Research on natural disaster prevention and mitigation measures attuned to the needs of developing countries”

Infectious Diseases Control: 2 projects selected

- Two (2) projects out of 16 proposals for Infectious Diseases Control “Research on measures to address infectious diseases control attuned to the needs of developing countries”

Interdisciplinary: 1 project selected

- One (1) project out of 18 proposals for Interdisciplinary projects
