Key points for research proposal submission.


The numbers of research domains where proposals are invited are as follows.
Research Domains launched in fiscal 2002 : 13
Research Domains launched in fiscal 2000, 2001
   CREST Program : 6
   PRESTO Program : 14
   RISTEX Program : 3

Please choose one appropriate research domain for your research concept.


Core Research for Evolutional Science and Technology(CREST), Precursory Research for Embryonic Science and Technology(PRESTO), Research and Development for Applying Advanced Computational Science and Technology (ACT-JST), Research Institute of Science and Technology(RISTEX)programs, and others in fiscal 2001 are reorganized into New Research Promotion Program.
The research domains launched in fiscal 2002 are supported by Strategic Creation Research Promotion Program.

The research domains launched in fiscal 2000 or 2001 are supported by CREST Program, PRESTO Program or RISTEX Program as in fiscal 2000 or 2001

10 research domains of 13 launched in fiscal 2002 are on nano-technology to promote of researches on nano-technology.
