Outline

We propose a MEMS optical interferometer integrated with a CMOS image sensor to measure intermolecular force between immobilized proteins for biomarker detection. Thinned sensing diaphragm and improved signal conversion efficiency provide a rapid diagnosis within 1 min with a concentration of 1 ng/mL. With a parallel processing of 103~104 pixels, a sensor system for household medication with simple, rapid and inexpensive method is realized.
