Outline

Since the wireless communication by the higher frequency electromagnetic wave is developing rapidly due to the enlargement of the data capacity, the electromagnetic device applicable to higher frequency region is strongly demanded. We try to establish the basic concept and technique of the magnetoelectric device, which can be applied to the electromagnetic device above 100 GHz, through the novel spin excitation, termed “electromagnon”, leading to the indispensable elements including the isolator, absorber and polarizer.
