Outline

Tremendous versatility of the current NEMS technology with the sophisticateed quantum contorl technique can open up a new field of quantum nanotechnology. This project aims towards the improvement of NEMS performance by adopting the quantum control and innovating a novel quantum nanodevice. We develop quantum optomechanical systems in both optical and microwave regime and perform a coherent control of phonon and photon in a single quantum level. These devices can pave the way towards the development of the quantum information network, as well as providing a new insight to the fundamental physics, such as quantum control of macro object.
