Research Outline

The final goal of this study is to develop an direct ammonium fuel cell which is efficiently operative in the intermedaite temperature range from 200 to 400°C. For this objective, we design the hydrogen membrane fuel cell built up by hydrogen-permeable metal solid anode, proton-conducting amorphous oxide thin film electrolyte and proton electron mixed conducting cathode in order to drive total fuel cell reaction driven by the fast proton transport.
