Outline

I construct artificial photosynthesis reaction system for direct production of MC (methylcyclohexane) through hydrogeneration reaction of TL (toluene). MC is one of the promising candidates of hydrogen carrier with outstanding volume density compared with liquid hydrogen. In the reaction system, membrane integrated-photocatalyst sheet plays a role of artificial leaf placing between MC production chamber filled with TL and oxygen production chamber filled with water under illumination.
