For disease to occur all three of a susceptible host, pathogen, and conducive environment must be present. If we know which pathogen(s) exist in the field and the effect of environment around the field on disease outbreak, we could reduce the risk of a disease in crops. The aim of this study is establishment of (1) a feasible method to identify pathogens in the field by soil-borne pathogen genomics and (2) disease forecasting by field study.
