Outline

In this project, I will obtain time series of ecological communities in agricultural ecosystems using environmental DNA technique. In addition, interspecific interactions in ecological communities will be detected and quantified using the framework of empirical dynamic modeling, and ecological interaction networks will be reconstructed. The information contained in the ecological interaction networks will enable more accurate prediction of agricultural ecosystem dynamics (e.g., growth rate of plants and pathogen infection rates).
