Outline

The purpose of this study is to establish the method for the optimization of cultivation conditions for high-yield and high-quality production. Cultivation takes too much time to find the optimum condition by trial and error. Further, even if we cultivate under the same conditions, the same yield and quality are not necessarily always obtained due to the influence from the environment. I extend Bayesian optimization to find the optimum condition under such uncertain environment. I demonstrate its effectiveness by applying it to the cultivation of spinach.
