Outline

The design of promising organic semiconductors is of great importance for the development of next-generation optoelectronic devices, such as organic light-emitting diodes. Within the project, novel high-performance organic semiconductors will be identified through high-throughput virtual screening using a combination of Bayesian optimization and relativistic quantum-chemical calculations. Furthermore, research efforts will be focused on synthesis and experimental evaluation of them to set the stage for future optoelectronics applications.
