The aim of this study is to develop the films with large piezoelectric response by manipulating the polarization in ferroelectric materials. The electrostatic boundary condition uniquely appeared in nanostructured films is utilized to control the stability of polarization so that the piezoelectric response can be maximized. Highly-efficient nanogenerators are fabricated using the developed films.
