- [Atsuko Kosuga] Development of Thermoelectric Materials and Devices for Low-temperature Applications
Osaka Prefecture University
Graduate School of Science
Associate Professor
The aim of this research is to fabricate metastable thermoelectric bulk materials by a combination of melt-spinning technique and room-temperature high-pressure press for development of high-performance thermoelectric materials for low-temperature applications. An experimental approach and ab-initio calculation are employed in mutually complementary ways in order to optimize its thermoelectric properties. This research will contribute to energy harvesting technology which utilizes low-temperature waste heat.
