Outline

Quantum emitters are key devices for quantum cryptography enabling us to securely transmit the information. Although color centers in solid-state diamond are expected as a candidate, sharp fluorescence, high quantum efficiency, and spectral stability are not satisfied. A germanium-vacancy center which I have reported for the first time has the possibility to satisfy the conditions above. In this research, this novel color center is studied towards the quantum emitter application.
