In this research, we investigate how much enhancement of the emission rate in the ‘forbidden’ optical transition, e.g. multipole transition or multiphoton emission process, can be obtained by using laser induced atomic coherence. This is a basic study to develop a future technology of emission rate manipulation including weak interaction process.
