Outline

The purpose of this study is to create a molecular imaging method with ultra-high molecular sensitivity, spatial resolution, and temporal resolution based on Raman spectroscopy with plasmonic enhancement beyond the conventional limits. I will apply the novel method to reveal a role of lipids in cells and tissues, and investigate a lipid-related diseases in terms of molecular structures.
